Born in the village of Neskuchai in the Vishnevolotskoi region of the Tverskaya oblast in 1924.
During the years of the Great Patriotic War he was posted as a machine-gunner at the 2nd Ukranian front.
Awarded order of the Great Patriotic War Grade I, medals for "Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945", "Twenty years of victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945", "Forty years of victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945", "50 years of Armed Forces of the USSR" and others.
In 1951, he finished the Moscow city school for invalids of the Great Patriotic War, the managing body for artistic affairs of the Ìîsgorispolkom.
Other students included I.Gyrevitsa, K.Kînà, D.Nalbahdyana, G.Tseytlinna.
In 1961, he was offered membership of the Union of Atrists of the USSR.
His work is dedicated to the Great Patriotic War and the life of rural workers.
He regularly participates in republican and all-union exhibitions.
His works can be found in many museums and galleries in Russia and in private collections in Russia and abroad.
He started working with "Les Oreades" in 1993.
